Transgender transexuals
There are instances where people are born with gender improperness and they try hard to find ways to adjust themselves with society. They are known as transgender transsexuals. Their only need is to be a part of the society which gives the transgender a secondary human nature. Being difficult to be categorized as male or female is their only disability. Their genital constitution made them somewhere between that of male and female
But there is yet another category who wants to get changed from their sexual orientation. The reasons may be many. Hormonal imbalance social taboo attached in the environment which they live are some of them. Sometimes the more apparent secondary sexual characteristics may make him to think of a gender changing surgery.
Till now our medical science is not developed to change a woman to man. The reverse is possible through an irreversible treatment strategy. The procedure was first performed successfully in the year 1952. Implantation hormones are necessary for the development of secondary sexual characters. The treatment is medically termed as sexual reassignment therapy. The success of the surgery depends much on the genital reconstitution of primary sexual organ. Impossibility to create an artificial penis itself is the reason which hinders a female to be a male. But the technology succeeded in creating vagina through mastectomy.
Today’s world has gone forward a lot. It started thinking that transsexuals are also a part of it. Now they are in a point of being well understood. Still for them it is better be in one sex rather than exist as a stereotype of a genetic disorder. They carry the curse of something they could not correct
Being a transgender cannot be suppressed forever. At some point or the other it will get exposed. That is the human psychology. Containment can often result in other related tribulations like depression it can even end up in suicide if not treated properly. A good counseling can be successful in certain cases. For the transsexuals by birth an average life span of 30 is only expected.
Transexuality is different from homosexuality. But the after effect can be similar in almost all the cases. In transsexuals their brain will be oriented in the opposite way with what they have in their physical appearance. So the confusion leaves behind them as to which sex they should live like. Sometimes it results in the woman caricatures we see. They try to dress up like woman but their apparent features of manliness will be very visible
The society views them as outcasts as their way of living is indigestible for the common man. That itself is the reason that life of many of the transgender transsexuals end up in the brothels waiting for those gays to have sex with and earn their living. Works of certain organizations for the betterment and improvement of the class is making considerable change in the society. The only thing possible is to accept them as human beings and appreciate the guts they have to live by earning. No matter which path they decide on.
